Artwork Description
An aerial view of a salt flat bisected by a road that divides the landscape in two. On one side, the regular tracks of a machine mark the surface with almost rhythmic precision, as if the land had been touched by the keys of an invisible instrument. On the other, the terrain remains untouched, still awaiting intervention. From this perspective, the image reveals a moment suspended between action and possibility: a landscape where the human presence imprints order and geometry upon the earth, while the desert, on the other side, retains its original silence. In the end, everything is summarized in lines stamped on salt and earth, vestiges of the constant dialogue between the land and those who inhabit it.
