Artwork Description

Spectacular Sihuas Mantle of Multicolor Threads Forming a Symbolic Decor of Overlapped Step Lines Showing a Shaman with Uplifting Arms in Brown, Red Ochre, and Cream Colors. The “leit motif” of these pieces is a Shaman with uplift arms towards the sky imploring for abundant rain. Another theory is that it may be the arial view of a pyramid from the sky with sacred geometric lines and twin snakes surrounding the main theme.
