A hand made, artisanal book of wet plate photographs by Susan McLaughlin and Paul d'Orléans. 75 wet plate images taken while traveling 10,000 miles across the USA between 2012-2016. Each image is hand-printed and glued back-to-back with the following image, creating a book that needs no binding. The book has an embossed leather cover, and comes in a case containing a map, 3 essays about the photographic process and journey with 100-year old motorcycles across the USA. Also is included with each book is a one-of-12 photogravure etching of a MotoTintype photo, by El Taller de Mike in Mexico City. Book published by Cooperative La Joplin in Mexico City in 2026.
